Rumah ni actually betul-betul sebelah jalan heavy traffic exit dekat Satay Willy tuu. Rumah venue The Hidden Valley ni jenis tanah lot. Kiri kanan ada rumah cuma bukan style teres lah ya. Nasib rumah ni berdekatan hujung jalan adalah end lot jadi sesuai juga lah buat sebagai event place.

Yang paling best sekali adalah, venue The Hidden Valley ni ada unit penginapan sekali. Around 5 bilik and if I’m not mistaken, setiap bilik ada bilik mandi sekali. En suite lah orang kata kann.

Tapi dapurnya comel sahaja. Hehe. Was hoping the kitchen would be slightly bigger. Tapi takpe. Nama pun venue + staycation, takde lah heavy sangat nak guna dapur ye dop? Sokayyy.

Bahagian depan rumah adalah bahagian pelamin dan meja beradab, sekali dengan dua buah meja panjang untuk tetamu menjamu selera. Kawasan yang just nice je untuk event yang very intimate with close friends and families.

Pada bahagian entrance pula, ada beberapa meja tetamu untuk yang nakkan suasana angin bayu kat luar. Kat sini juga family pengantin decide untuk letak laluan arch, meja diorgift dan juga meja kuih-muih.

Owh ya, bahagian ambil lauk dibahagi kepada dua; bahagian luar dan juga bahagian kat dapur untuk tetamu.

Majlis bermula dalam selepas waktu Zohor dan berakhir around petang slightly 6 pm macam tu. Kira majlis santai-santai belah petang. Kita chill-chill, tenanngggg ribut jiwaaa ~~~

Belah malam pula setelah selesai majlis, kita bagi karaoke seround dua. Yang ni speaker dan microphone my brother bawa siap-siap dari rumah. Yang ni tuan rumah venue tak sediakan ya. Hehe

Esoknya, kita repeat mandi swimming pool. Owh ya, venue The Hidden Village ni, lengkap dengan swimming pool. Tak terlalu besar, tak terlalu kecil. Just nice sahaja.

Anyway itu sahaja nak kongsi. Kita share gambar je okay buat simpan kenangan. Sampai jumpa di sharing seterusnya !

AIRBNB REVIEW : IMPERIO RESIDENCE, MELAKA | Assalamualaikum semua ! Welcome to my blog !

Okay last week, I went to Melaka for my honeymoon. Decided to go for Melaka as it was a last minute decision. We couldn't decide on which place to go for the weekend. We can't go far as our budget was limited, it's either PD or Melaka, and we opt for Melaka.

After days of searching through places to stay, between the hotels and Airbnb, I've decide on Airbnb. I've located an amount of RM500+ for 2 nights, and this is the breakdown for the places

For hotels, at that price, and on my selected dates : Pros, got breakfast. Cons, no seaview, no balcony, no bathtub.

For Airbnb, at that price, and on my selected dates : Pros, got balcony, got bathtub and got seaview. Cons, no breakfast.

So I'll go ahead with the Airbnb, as I prefer to have that 3 amenities, as breakfast can easily be found anywhere in Melaka. This is Melaka we're staying at. So many food choices.

Okay let's talk about this Airbnb unit :

IMPERIO RESIDENCE, MELAKA

It's located at the heart of the city, just beside the DoubleTree Hotel. This residence is above the Imperio Mall, which looks abandoned, I think because of PKP 2 years back. Maybe.

Checking-In was a breeze. It's self-checkin. Just collect the keys in the mailbox at lobby and you're good to go. For my unit, the owner provide a free parking spot, as they applied for the season pass. Parking doesn't have it's own spot. It's free parking. you can park any box you want as long as it's in the box or not you'll get clamped. But some unit I've heard, you have to pay for the parking per entry. Price range from RM3 - RM7 roughly.

Our unit is located at the 23rd floor, and upon reaching the room, as I opened the door, I could see the beautiful seaview that I've always dreamed off. Such stunning sunset. We arrived in the evening around 4 pm roughly, and the sun just heavenly.

The unit consists of one queen bed, one sofa, a smart TV, toilet complete with shower and bathtub, and I must say, the bathtub also has a beautiful seaview. The TV complete with an android box for your Netflix movie-binged, and also got Youtube as well as others. Wifi is available and the connection is good.

Just a small note, if you're standing on the balcony, you can see the large view of the seaview and one abandoned building halfway through construction.. But if you're from inside or from the bathtub, you will see a small portion of the building in front. I'll share on the pictures if you can't much imagine the words explained. Hehe.

The balcony consists of two chairs and a table, and this is where me and my husband had our quiet breakfast. I really love our breakfast moment. With the morning sun and the sea breeze. It's really what I am always look for in a vacation. Maybe for next year, I'll try find a place near the beach.

The bathtub is quite big, and very comfortable, just if they have more floor mat in the toilet, should be great. As it's kinda easily be wet, and took quite sometimes for the floor to be dry. Shampoo and body shower is also provided in the shower area. I can say, their toilet is very clean !

They also have a small kitchen/pantry area. complete with a medium-sized fridge, induction cooker with 2 pans, plates, cups, forks and spoons, enough for 2 people stay. I purposely choose a studio-type room instead of one-bedroom. As I am looking for a small simple room to stay in for the weekend.

The pool located at this residence is very big and very nice. For family stay-cation is very recommended. Complete with kids pool and also playground.

All in all, I can say, this unit is worth it. If you happen to come and visit Melaka, and wanted to stay in the city but also getting a seaview, with a quiet environment, give this unit a try. I'll share the link for the booking below.

AIRBNB Review : D'Pines Apartment

Last Raya Haji, me and all of my cousins, decide that we wanted a different gathering fro Raya Haji. Instead of going back hometown like always, we decided to have a stay at an apartment booking through airbnb website

The difference between airbnb and hotel is, you get to stay at home while not being at home. Get it?

You get to stay at a place like home it's just not your home hehe, so less chaos in terms of cleaning (oops)

So after doing a few research by my cousin, Eyka and Nani, and doing all the calculations, as the price for accommodation and foods will be divided into 14 adults.

And we come up with a place called D'Pines Apartment in Ampang and settling the menu, which cost us only RM100 per pax! Quite cheap lah sebab ramai haha

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, with the thought of having some good time by the pool, but sadly, the pool was closed without further notice. They put up a notice but said that it will be closed from 8th to 9th august, but we reached at 10th of august and stayed till 12th still the pool couldn't be used. We were so mad with the owner, as she didn't had the thought of informing us about this.

Thus, for the 3 days, we had fun playing indoor games such as Monopoly, UNO and Mafia. A simple game that can make us laugh so hard!

But, despite the owner not helping much, I must say they have a beautiful house.

A 3-bedroom apartment complete with a decent size kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and two balcony. An open concept as you come into the house. From dining area to the living area straight to the balcony.

For the kitchen, it was merely a decent size, with good amount of window for the sunlight. A clean tiles and properly arrange furniture for the convenience of cooking. It also has a door the prevent cooking smells going to the living room, which for me was a really good idea!

The master bedroom was never had I imagined it would be, a good king size bed, complete with en suite and they also have what I called as indoor and outdoor balcony attached to the room.

Other 2 bedrooms, complete with queen and double single bed is just enough for us, as some of the guys were sleeping in the living room hehe

All in all, it was a good getaway for us. Since our family is quite big, we love having to spend some time like this. Just cooking, playing games and have fun :)
